Point Hiidenniemi stretches its beautiful shores out into gentle waves of Lake Härkäjärvi. Thousands of years ago ice sheets picked up block of stones, moved them from one place to another and rubbed them against the rocks. In Point Hiidenniemi you can still find traces from those ancient times. At the same time you can spend your holiday relaxing in our luxurious holiday cottages (*****), which have all the modern facilities. If you wish, you can also take a closer view of modern farming at the farm. Our family has owned Hiidenniemi Farm for 200 years, but the first residents who lived and worked in the farm, came as early as in the17th century. Merja and Pauli bought the farm 1993. Hiidenniemi Farm is a dairy farm, but we also have pets; dogs, cats and a Shetland pony. For families with children we have some useful equipment, for example high chair, potty, cot and strollers. These equipments can be borrowed from us, so you don ´t have to take everything with you. If you wish to borrow these equipments, please contact us and book them before your holiday. Our family welcomes you warmly to our farm and to our holiday cottages round the year to relax or to spend your holiday with lots of activities – as you wish!
